Misty Mountain Vista

Mountain peaks emerge from morning mist in layers of blue and grey, each ridge slightly softer than the one before it. A painting about atmospheric perspective — the way distance translates into color temperature and value, the way the world softens and fades as it recedes. A large, ambitious landscape that fills a room with the quality of a mountain morning.
