Mirror Lake

A mountain lake so still it doubles the sky — the peaks and clouds reflected with perfect fidelity in the dark water below. This is Alaska in its meditative mode: silent, vast, indifferent to human scale. Kayley painted this landscape with an eye for the specific quality of Alaska light, the way it falls differently here than anywhere else on earth.
