Aurora Over Mountains

The aurora borealis sweeps across the mountain sky in arcs of green and white, the peaks dark below and the stars scattered above. Few subjects demand as much of a painter as the northern lights — they are light itself, color without form, always moving. Kayley meets the challenge with a palette and brushwork that captures the aurora's dancing, shimmering presence.
